Most Free screensavers you find on our sites were created by celebrityscreensavers.com. These programs do NOT contain any ADWARE/SPYWARE. In order to keep our screensavers Free, during the install you may see some special offers, which you can accept or decline simply by unchecking a box. If you decline, your option, any of these special offers you will still be able to download the Free Screensaver. If you accept any offer and later decide you do now want it, you can easily remove via the Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel. You will not be automatically be connected to our site unless you choose to. (Please note that any screensavers you might download through advertising banners or links are not made by us).

Our sites are Free and are Ad-Supported by our affiliates. Before we approve an affiliate we make sure that they do not offer offer content that has Adware, Spyware or unwanted programs. Note: Due to changes in the Windows Vista operating system our animated screensavers and animated wallpapers currently are NOT compatible!. However they continue to work properly with Windows 95-XP. We are currently upgrading our sceensavers to Windows Vista - Look for Vista Compatible!

Removing Screen Saver After Installation -
Most screen savers contain an uninstall mechanism, that will remove the product
from your PC should you wish to do so. Use the uninstall icon if available or:
1. Click on the Windows 'Start' button.
2. Select the 'Settings' option from the menu.
3. Select the 'Control Panel' option from the menu.
4. Double-click on the 'Add/Remove Programs' icon from within the Control Panel.
5. Select Screen Saver from the list of programs and click on the Add/Remove button.
6. Click on the 'Yes' button to confirm the deletion request, Screen Saver will then be removed.

This tool only deletes the .scr file in the Windows or windows\system directory

Desktop Themes
To install desktop themes, you'll need these 3 things to use the themes:
Windows 95/98 ME, An Unzipping Program and Microsoft Plus Pack. If
you do not have the Microsoft Plus Pack you can download Desktop Architect
for Windows 95/98/NT/2000. Both programs are FREE to download. These are older programs by other authors "Download at your Own Risk!

Celebrityscreensavers.com does create most of the screen savers listed on our site However we DO NOT create Desktop Themes therefore please contact the author or - Visit these sites for expert advice and assistance. If you are new to Desktop Themes please visit these sites.

Suggestions: We do not recommend Desktop Themes for Newbies. It is best to be familiar with your computer prior to installing Desktop Themes. Screen Savers on the other hand are easy to install and uninstall and are for everyone. The themes have been checked to make sure that the files are not corrupted, however, it is THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE DOWNLOADING USER to check for possible virus infection or compatability with their computer system.

If you screen resolution detected above if different than 800 X 600
the wallpaper, theme and/or screen saver may work but appear too
small or too large for your desktop.
